MyStake UK: what a British visitor is shown and what the terms say

The MyStake UK question has two answers, one in the terms and one in the site's behaviour, and they do not match. We checked both on 22 October 2026 and set them side by side with the date.

Short answer

On 22 October 2026 MyStake answers a visitor from the UK with "Access restricted. Unfortunately, MyStake is not available in your region", and its app page says "Region Restricted". The terms do not list the UK among banned countries but let MyStake refuse any other country, and the casino holds no UKGC licence, only Curaçao licence OGL/2024/250/0115.

MyStake UK is the page we update first when anything changes, because it is the one a British reader most needs. For anyone asking whether MyStake UK access exists today, the status on 22 October 2026 is that the casino does not let UK visitors into an account, even though its written terms do not name the UK as a banned country. Below is the evidence, the wording of each page and what the missing UK licence means in practice.

MyStake UK: what the site shows

The check that decides access is the one the site makes on a visitor's session. When it is made from a UK connection, the answer is an error status, 477 in the technical response, and the site's code reacts by sending the browser to a page called "no access". Its text reads: "Access restricted. Unfortunately, MyStake is not available in your region." It also names [email protected] for questions.

The same check made from Austria, Canada and Germany returned a normal answer, which is why we treat this as a country rule and not a fault. The casino's other public data, its game directory and its text pages, still answered from the UK. The refusal begins where an account or session is involved.

The diagram shows the usual order of steps at an online casino: open the site, check access, register or log in, verify, deposit, withdraw. For a UK visitor the route stops at the second step.

A browser block that is not a UK block

One detail needs care. Opening the site in an automated browser gave a Cloudflare page, "Sorry, you have been blocked", and a UK reader might read it as the same thing. It is not. The same page appeared from a Canadian connection, where the account check passed, so it is a response to the automated browser, not to the country. We therefore do not count it as evidence either way and rely on the account check and the app page.

The app page and the region

The casino's app page, linked as "Install App" in the site's side menu, shows a UK visitor: "Region Restricted. Access Restricted In Your Region. Due to regulations, our services are unavailable in your region." It adds "Location check: Not supported" and a support address, [email protected]. From Germany the same page gives installation steps. More on that in MyStake app.

Terms against behaviour

SourceWhat it says about the UK
Terms, "Who can play"UK not listed as a banned country
Terms, same sectionMyStake may refuse "any other countries" at its discretion
Site, 22 October 2026"Access restricted"
App page"Region Restricted"
Casino welcome bonus exclusionsUK not among the 50-plus excluded countries
Site codelicence seal hidden for GB, UK, IE and US

The table shows why a review that quotes only the terms ("the UK is allowed") gets it wrong: the discretion clause is what applies on the day. The reverse mistake is also possible, to read "restricted" as a permanent ban. The documents do not say it is permanent; they say it is the position on 22 October 2026, which is why every figure on this site carries a date.

What the missing UKGC licence means

MyStake holds licence OGL/2024/250/0115 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, held by GTW B.V. (company number 165433). It holds no licence from the UK Gambling Commission, and the site hides its licence seal from visitors located in the UK. A UKGC licence brings rules on how bonuses are advertised, a UK complaints route and the national self-exclusion scheme. A Curaçao-only casino offers none of those. For its own complaints the terms give two months, then an independent body or the licensing regulator, and the courts of Curaçao.

See is MyStake legit for the operator checks, and MyStake support for the complaint steps.

Pounds, bonuses and payment channels

Three details are often asked about under the MyStake UK heading.

  • Currency. GBP is in the accepted-currency list in the terms, and the casino's directory carries channels labelled "Card Uk", "Credit Card GBP" and "GBP withdraw". The directory is general, not per country, so we cannot say which would be shown to a UK customer.
  • Welcome bonus. The countries excluded from the casino welcome bonus are listed in the terms: Finland, Japan, Greece, Bulgaria, Slovenia and others. The UK is not among them. The package is 300% up to €1,500 at 30x, and the details are on the bonus page.
  • Withdrawals. Where an account exists, the caps are €7,500 a week and €15,000 a month, with the same figures given in pounds or dollars. See withdrawal time.

Read together, the table says the restriction is applied when an account or session is involved, not to the public information pages, which is why a UK visitor can often read about MyStake but cannot get further. That is the case for treating MyStake UK as a status page and not a how-to page.

What we cannot say

The documents do not explain why the UK is restricted, whether the restriction will be lifted, or what happens to an existing balance. We will not guess at any of the three. Statements like "MyStake left the UK market" or "MyStake will return in spring" are not in the casino's texts. If the status changes, this page changes and the date at the top moves.

Checklist of five things to check before a first deposit: accepted country, bonus terms, limits, documents and a personal deposit limit
Checklist drawn for this guide: five things to check before a first deposit at an online casino.

The checklist above applies to any casino, and its first item is the accepted country: confirm it from the operator's own terms and from what the site actually does, on the day. A limit on your own deposits is worth setting with the operator before the first payment, and a UK reader who is already unsure should treat that as a reason to wait.

MyStake: questions and answers

Is MyStake available in the UK?

Not as of 22 October 2026. From a UK connection the account check ends on a page reading "Access restricted", and the app page shows "Region Restricted".

Why do the terms not ban the UK if the site is restricted?

The terms list Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Georgia, Saba, St Maarten, the USA and FATF black-listed countries, and add that MyStake may refuse "any other countries" at its discretion. The restriction falls under that clause.

Does MyStake have a UK Gambling Commission licence?

No. Its licence is from the Curaçao Gaming Authority. The UK protections that come with a UKGC licence do not apply.

Can I pay in pounds at MyStake?

GBP is among the currencies in the terms and the casino's directory, and some payment channels carry a UK or GBP label. Which ones a UK customer could use cannot be read from public data.

Is the welcome bonus open to the UK?

The UK is not on the list of countries excluded from the casino welcome bonuses. With the account restriction, the point is academic. See MyStake bonus.

Who do I ask about my account?

The restriction page names [email protected]. See MyStake support.
